Valley Central Puerto Rico Hurricane Maria Relief Drive - Montgomery, NY

Orange County Relief Aid for Puerto Rico from Hurricane Maria - Collected items to offer relief to the people of Puerto Rico in collaboration with the Volunteer Club of Valley Central High School in Montgomery, NY along with residents of Orange County, NY. The effort was in association with Orange County, NY Sheriff's Department as part of The Empire State Relief and Recovery Effort for Puerto Rico under the direction of Governor Andrew Cuomo. We coordinated, collected and delivered items such as: bottled water, aspirin, diapers (adult and children), clorox wipes, baby wipes, baby formula, batteries, flash lights, can openers, non-perishable food items, feminine hygiene products, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste and bug spray.

A total of 15 pallets worth of items, 9 of which were bottled water were collected on 3, 5 hour days on October 1, 7 and 8 and the items were delivered on October 8 to the Orange County Sheriff's Department for delivery to Puerto Rico.
